Location: Retail Grocery Store
The grocery associate is responsible for increasing customer trust and loyalty by providing courteous and prompt service, consistent operating conditions, and a friendly environment.
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
Provide continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist, and thank customers promptly, courteously, and amicably.
Offer product suggestions when appropriate. Store and rotate department products (groceries, general merchandise, dairy, and frozen foods) to ensure freshness and date control; restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and maintain lower supply cost.
Operate department equipment and tools.
Help receive vendor merchandise. Unload truck deliveries promptly.
Notify management about associate theft, customer shoplift, unauthorized discounts, property defacement, or any action that is illegal and/or against company policy. Perform other related job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Meet legal and company policy age requirements for job functions. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it. Successful completion of pre-employment drug tests and background checks.
