Job Summary/Basic Function
Weber State University’s College of Social Sciences & Education (CSSE) seeks applicants for the position of Marketing & Outreach Manager. This is a full‑time position in which the individual will be responsible for the internal and external marketing programs, advertising, event and activity promotion, social media presence and other public relations activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field

Two years of related experience

Skill/experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media platforms

Preferred Qualifications

Seeking candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in design and technology

Excellent record of work in marketing and publicity

Strong project management experience and organizational skills

Ability to take initiative, work without supervision and begin projects independently

Fluency and ability to produce content for marketing campaigns across multiple web‑based and traditional platforms plus the ability to lead social media programs

Experience in student recruitment/retention

Excellent writing skills for different media

Strong strategic planning, proven implementation and execution experience

Experience with software for web and print design
