Description
The Marketing Specialist supports the execution of marketing initiatives by performing hands‑on, task‑based marketing activities under the direction of the Marketing Director. This role focuses on implementing campaigns, coordinating marketing deliverables, supporting content development, and maintaining accurate marketing records in a fast‑paced environment.
The Marketing Specialist works within established marketing strategies, processes, and timelines and is responsible for timely, accurate completion of assigned marketing tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Execute assigned marketing tasks and campaigns according to established plans and direction
Support digital, email, content, SEO, and promotional initiatives
Assist with creating, updating, and distributing marketing materials and collateral
Ensure marketing deliverables meet brand standards and deadlines
Assist with content updates for websites, email campaigns, presentations, and internal communications
Coordinate marketing tasks, assets, and timelines across projects
Gather information, approvals, and materials from internal teams and vendors
Maintain organized marketing files, assets, and documentation
Use marketing tools and systems to execute and track assigned activities
Maintain accurate records of campaign execution, content updates, and deliverables
Assist with compiling performance data and standard reports
Track task completion and communicate progress or issues to the Marketing Director
Work closely with the Marketing Director and other internal teams to support marketing efforts
Follow established marketing processes, workflows, and brand guidelines
Support cross‑functional initiatives as directed
Identify and communicate execution issues or gaps impacting timelines
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
1–3 years of marketing, communications, or related experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic understanding of marketing concepts and channels
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard marketing tools
Strong execution‑focused mindset
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow direction and established processes
Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Office‑based environment
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
Occasional extended hours during campaigns, deadlines, or launches
