Summary
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) will be accountable for the customer service, retention and growth of Cozzini Bros. national customers. The RAM will be responsible for building multi-level relationships within key customer operations, safety procurement, and finance teams, executing business reviews, adding additional contractual product classes at the corporate level, negotiating and executing proactive contract renewals and executing reactive retention exercises.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Retain and grow annual volume of Cozzini’s managed accounts

Develop and maintain proficiency in Cozzini services, products and systems

Works collaboratively with the Sr. Director of Managed Accounts, Vice President of National Accounts and Marketing, the CRO, and the field operations team in all aspects of customer strategy

Records all customer interactions in Salesforce

Build and execute a structured call/contact strategy

Build and maintain a central database of key customer information including but not limited to contract expiration dates, price increase protocol, ability for corporate sites to add/delete/alter products, pricing and frequency

Proactively initiate and execute favorable contract renewals including but not limited to price increases, GPO coordination, billing & payment processes and additional product/service offerings

Fully manage and execute day-to-day and ad hoc customer inquiries and projects including but not limited to inventory and service adjustments

Execute a collaborative process for constructing, executing and maintaining a Business Review process

Collaborate with Business Development Directors and Regional Business Development Managers during the on-boarding and implementation of new agreements that will be added to the RAM book of business

Seeks out and maintains knowledge of cutting-edge practices in the marketplace and best practices in strategic account retention and growth

Requirements
Competencies and Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or related field

3-5 years’ experience working in Strategic Account Management

Strong Negotiation skills with the ability to efficiently handle difficult conversations

Strong Project Management skills with the ability to prioritize workload with multiple competing deadlines

Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Strong Salesforce.com skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Extreme attention to detail

High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Responds promptly to requests for service and assistance. Understands the need for excellent service to all customers and co workers

Meets commitments, is punctual and accepts responsibility for own actions

Physical and Visual Activities

On a daily basis, must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time

Must be able to frequently communicate through phone, email, text and in person methods and constantly have visual acuity

Must be able to constantly operate computers and office equipment

Ability to sit for long periods of time, may occasionally stand and/or move about the building and/or reach, bend or twist

Ability to travel up to 25%
