Title: Marketing Web Developer

Responsibilities

Verify consistency of content developed

Coordinate and communicate content changes and their effect on users of marketing’s websites

Work closely with the Marketing Web Development Team Lead to identify issues on all marketing websites

Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, responding to changing deadlines and priorities

Occasionally work overtime (nights and/or weekends)

Skills

Proficient, analytical, decisive, troubleshooting skills

Proficient understanding of a standard code versioning tool

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop and a device‑agnostic approach to optimize output for any device

Basic UI/UX understanding to ensure technical feasibility and give feedback on designs

Good understanding of SEO principles ensuring all applications adhere to them

Proficient knowledge in outputting data in different formats

Qualifications

Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Experience Required: Javascript, jQuery, HTML, CSS; Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems; Content management systems including WordPress; PHP/MySQL knowledge preferred; Version control; Web design, development and/or maintenance

Skills and Abilities: Ability to write clear instructions for users; Must possess ability to learn and understand internal processes and their relationship to the systems and applications used to accomplish those processes
