Summary
The Video Project & Production Coordinator will lead the creation and execution of high-quality video content to support the university's enrollment efforts and enhance the overall Taylor brand. This role combines project management, creative production, and storytelling to produce compelling videos that engage prospective students, alumni, donors, and the broader university community.

Duties and Responsibilities
This position is primarily responsible to:
Testify to personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ, affirm belief in the University's Statement of Faith, abide by and practice our Life Together Covenant, and both personally agree with and support the Foundational Documents of Taylor University.
Video Strategy & Planning:
Collaborate with the Executive Director of Marketing to understand undergraduate and graduate enrollment objectives and create video content strategies that align with their goals.
Develop and execute a comprehensive video production calendar to support recruitment and brand awareness campaigns.
Video Production & Editing:
Plan, shoot, and edit video content, including promotional videos, testimonials, event highlights, and social media assets.
Ensure high production quality by managing lighting, audio, and camera equipment during shoots.
Create engaging post-production edits, including color correction, sound mixing, and graphics integration.
Project Management:
Oversee video projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with University messaging and branding standards.
Coordinate schedules, resources, and approvals with internal stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
Maintain a video production workflow, including file organization, archival, and distribution.
Brand Storytelling:
Develop and tell authentic, impactful stories that highlight the University's mission, values, and achievements.
Showcase the unique experiences of students, faculty, staff, and alumni through video content.
Team Collaboration:
Partner with colleagues within the marketing team to ensure video content aligns with the overall brand strategy.
Manage relationships with freelance videographers, editors, and other production vendors as needed.
Hire, manage, and train student videographers.
Data & Analytics:
Monitor video performance across platforms and use analytics to inform future production strategies.
Optimize videos for various platforms, including websites, social media, and email campaigns.

Typical Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in film, video production, marketing, communications, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in video production, project management, or related roles.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Experience with video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
Familiarity with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
Strong storytelling and creative skills with a portfolio showcasing prior work.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of branding principles and digital content strategies.
Experience working in higher education or nonprofit environments.
Knowledge of social media video trends and platform-specific best practices is preferred.
Strong understanding of audience engagement strategies for prospective students, alumni, and donors.
Supplemental Information
Physical Demands
Physical Demands-Carrying video equipment to various campus locations as needed and standing during video shoots. Occasional evening and weekend work is required to cover events or meet project deadlines.
Work Environment
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Environmental Conditions
May involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures.
