The International Sales Account Manager will have proven sales support experience and a passion for selling technology solutions. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining established relationships, effectively communicating technical information to customers and helping develop new relationships. You will primarily be working with existing customers to ensure new business and customer satisfaction levels. Secondarily, you will be creating new customer prospects over time by understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions and effectively articulating the value of our products or services. This is a hands‑on relationship‑strengthening sales position which requires a lot of autonomy. Sales cycles can be multi‑year.
Travel is required up to 75% .
Responsibilities
Understand our product/service’s technical features, functionalities and benefits
Participate in sales meetings, trade shows and industry events to promote our products or services
Prepare and conduct product presentations to showcase key features and functionalities and address technical questions and concerns from customers
Provide pre‑sales support by answering inquiries and participating in sales meetings
Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical requirements and ensure the successful future implementation of solutions
Liaise with the engineering or technical team to address technical concerns or requirements
Prepare and present proposals for customers
Identify and develop new business opportunities through customer visits
Study customer needs, pain points and business challenges and create a customized sales proposal with the sales team
Successfully negotiate and close contracts
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics and competitor offerings
Give active feedback and insights from the market to the product development and marketing team
Qualifications
Ability to obtain DoD issued Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
8 years of experience in sales, business, or related field
Technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Demonstrable experience in presenting technical products and services to customers, providing expert advice and troubleshooting customer queries
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers and internal teams
Self‑motivated to focus more on strengthening current customer relationships versus finding new business.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Travel internationally, up to 75%
Preferred Qualifications
Current, active DoD issued Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
Knowledge of international markets and customer preferences
Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools
Experience creating technical content, such as whitepapers or technical blog posts
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
RF transmission experience
Military sales experience
Language proficiency in multiple languages to cater to a diverse customer base
Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including product development and marketing
Benefits and Compensation
Pay may range from $130,000 to $145,000 annually. The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job‑related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long‑term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
