Key Responsibilities

New Agency Development: Actively prospect, identify, and establish relationships with new freight forwarding agents across Germany to build a robust, high-quality agency network.

Account Growth & Retention: Work alongside the Lane Manager to maintain and strengthen relationships with key existing agents, developing initiatives to enhance loyalty, collaboration, and mutual growth.

Commercial Coordination: Assist in ensuring the financial stability of new partnerships by supporting the timely follow-up and collection of Statements of Account (SOA), contributing to healthy cash flow.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding sales, business development, or agency/channel management, with a focus on the European market. Direct experience with the German logistics or freight forwarding market is a strong advantage.

Proven ability to both acquire new business partners and develop long-term agency relationships.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the cultural and business understanding to build trust with German partners.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently to drive new opportunities, while also collaborating effectively with a team structure.

Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations, pricing, and basic financial follow-up processes.

Fluency in English is required. Professional proficiency in German is highly preferred.
