Athletics Marketing Assistant
Located in Providence, Rhode Island, Brown University’s intercollegiate athletics program consists of 38 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes participating in NCAA Division I athletics.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and coordination of marketing plans for assigned sports to generate attendance and revenue.

Assist in event marketing, planning, and implementation.

Develop game‑day promotions and prepare game‑day public address scripts; execute in-game promotions and coordinate outside group attendance at athletic events.

Create and develop in‑game video board content; Adobe software experience preferred.

Coordinate appearances by the mascot at team, campus, and community marketing events.

Support traditional marketing initiatives, including social media, email, and grassroots efforts; capture and create content and messaging.

Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Willingness to learn the basic rules of sporting events.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Weekday afternoon/evening and weekend availability.

Team‑oriented mindset.

Desire to learn.

Background Check
