OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
The Account Executive plays a central role in project managing and producing deliverables for integrated communications and social change marketing campaigns. This position is both strategic and project‑based, with a focus on client service, and campaign coordination and production.

You will implement assigned account tasks across multiple clients. This includes overseeing project timelines, coordinating work across cross‑functional teams, supporting creative production and ensuring deliverables stay organized and on track. You will spend time in project management tools and internal systems, while also serving as a day‑to‑day contact for clients and supporting overall account strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing client relationships with proactively driving projects forward. You take pride in staying organized, communicating clearly, anticipating next steps and keeping deliverables moving. You are comfortable owning day‑to‑day client interactions and contributing to both strategy and implementation. You will work closely with account leads, creative teams, vendors and clients to ensure deliverables are aligned, deadlines are met and communication stays clear.

Requirements
MUST-HAVES

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

2 to 4 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field

Experience managing projects and working with clients in a professional setting

Strong comfort level working in project management systems and tracking budgets, timelines and deliverables

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in client‑facing settings

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams, clients and external partners while contributing to a supportive and solutions‑oriented environment

Ability to anticipate needs, problem‑solve and keep work moving forward with minimal oversight

Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion principles and the ability to apply an equity lens to communications work

Genuine interest in integrated communications, campaign execution and social impact work

NICE-TO-HAVES

Previous agency experience

Experience leading client calls or managing project workstreams

Experience supporting integrated communications, marketing or public relations campaigns

Familiarity with project management platforms such as Hive or similar systems

Experience with media relations, community outreach or vendor coordination

Multilingual abilities

JOB DUTIES

Serve as a day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, managing communication, responding to requests and incorporating feedback into deliverables

Co‑lead project workstreams, including setting timelines, coordinating tasks and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope

Coordinate with creative team members, vendors and partners to bring campaigns and deliverables to life

Maintain clear visibility into project progress, proactively sharing updates, flagging risks and keeping teams aligned

Support the development and execution of integrated communications strategies, including campaign planning, messaging and launches

Write and develop content for a range of deliverables, including social media, blogs, e‑news, press releases and web content

Lead or support client meetings by preparing agendas, guiding discussions and sharing clear, actionable recaps

Track budgets, scopes and billing for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client expectations

Support media relations efforts, including drafting pitches, building media lists, coordinating interviews and tracking coverage

Conduct research to inform projects, synthesize insights and translate findings into clear recommendations

Support relationships with external vendors, providing clear direction, expectations and timelines

Support new business efforts through research, proposal development and pitch participation

Apply social change marketing principles and an anti‑racism lens to all work

Participate in agency trainings, committees and cross‑team collaboration
