The Integrated Media Manager is a player‑coach responsible for overseeing the end-to-end activation process for the paid media team. While maintaining a high level of technical proficiency in platforms like Meta, Pinterest, and Amazon DSP, this role focuses on scaling team efficiency, mentoring and managing direct reports, and ensuring operational excellence across all client campaigns. The Integrated Media Manager ensures that activation workflows are standardized, QA protocols are followed, and that the team is consistently hitting client KPIs through advanced optimization techniques.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Help drive day‑to‑day innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives
Direct and develop a team of Paid Media Specialists, providing guidance on campaign structure, troubleshooting technical issues, and fostering professional growth
Own the agency’s activation workflow, ensuring all campaigns across social, programmatic, and publisher‑direct channels are launched on time and built to standard
Develop and maintain details related to media investments, insertion orders and ads trafficking across relevant media placements
Keep abreast of all invoice, billing and delivery issues and know when to escalate discrepancies to supervisors
Move beyond daily maintenance to identify macro‑trends across accounts; implement advanced testing frameworks (A/B, lift studies) to exceed client KPIs
Participate in governance over campaign builds, AI‑intermediated buying, and QA to minimize errors and maximize performance
Partner with Planning and Client Services to translate high‑level media strategies into actionable execution plans and budget recommendations
Serve as the final line of defense for campaign setup, tracking pixels, and budget pacing, ensuring 100% accuracy across the team’s output
Work with the media planning team to oversee the synthesis of monthly reports, ensuring the team provides "insight‑driven" analysis rather than just data summaries
Stay abreast of emerging trends within media and client industries, and demonstrate an eagerness to advance the team’s overall quality of work
Requirements
5+ years of experience in paid media buying, with a proven track record of managing multi‑million dollar budgets and complex cross‑channel activations
Prior experience managing direct reports in an agency environment
Expert‑level fluency in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Amazon DSP, and StackAdapt; advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and tracking ecosystems
A "FEARLESS" approach to troubleshooting technical API or tracking discrepancies
Strong understanding of media planning and buying processes, coupled with a desire to explore new tactics and drive client business growth
Highly organized, methodical and process‑driven
Effective problem‑solver and generator of creative, innovative solutions
Bachelor’s degree
