Part- Time Content Creator/Video Editor (Columbia)

We’re partnering with a dynamic media organization seeking a

Content Creator & Video Editor

to support digital storytelling and social media initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent grad or early-career professional with a passion for news, media, and creative content.

What You’ll Do:
• Create and edit engaging video and photo content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
• Develop social media posts, reels, and campaigns that drive audience engagement
• Adapt content across multiple platforms and audiences
• Collaborate with internal teams on content strategy and execution
• Stay ahead of social and digital media trends

What We’re Looking For:
• Background in communications, media, digital storytelling, or similar field
• Experience with content creation (student media, internships, or professional work)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro)
• Familiarity with social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite)
• Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to Have:
• Experience with motion graphics, DSLR cameras, or multimedia production
• Exposure to news, education, or social content campaigns
