Location
This is a remote position, but you must reside in Virginia, Maryland, or Minnesota for consideration.
Summary
Whole Woman's Health is a group of abortion clinics and a nationwide virtual abortion provider offering abortion procedures up to 24 weeks, medication abortion on-site and by mail, birth control, and additional gynecological services. We are headquartered in Charlottesville, VA, and operate clinics in Charlottesville; Alexandria, VA; Baltimore, MD; Minneapolis, MN; and Albuquerque, NM. We offer abortion pills by mail in 10 states.
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to drive patient acquisition and support clinic growth across our five clinics and virtual care operations. This role is embedded within the clinic operations team will partner with primary responsibility for driving increased patient census, appointment volume, and revenue performance. The Marketing Coordinator will partner closely with the clinic operations team to create, execute, and benchmark targeted, data-informed marketing strategies that ensure patients can find, trust, and access care through WWH.

Title and compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and/or interest in the following areas of focus:
Drive Patient Acquisition & Clinic Performance
Execute marketing initiatives designed to increase patient appointments, census, and service utilization
Align marketing activities with clinic-specific goals, capacity, and revenue targets
Identify, create, and execute marketing initiatives tailored to each clinic's needs and growth opportunities
Participate in regular clinic and operations meetings
Partner closely with clinic managers and operations leadership to align marketing efforts with real-time clinic performance and capacity and integrate marketing initiatives into clinic workflows
Develop clear, accurate, and stigma-free content for digital and print channels and collateral
Create in-clinic marketing and patient education materials as needed
Lead Digital Acquisition Efforts
In partnership with WWH's digital advertising partner, support and optimize paid digital campaigns, including Google Ads (search and local services) and Meta advertising (Facebook/Instagram)
Identify and test emerging digital channels and tools (e.g., AI-enabled platforms, Reddit, and other patient discovery channels)
Ensure strong visibility across search, maps, and online directories
Maintain and update website content, including clinic pages, service descriptions, and photography
Optimize user experience to improve conversion from search to appointment
Support and benchmark SEO and local search strategies
Monitor and respond to patient reviews and inquiries with professionalism and sensitivity
Track & Improve Performance
Monitor key metrics, including call volume, conversion rates, and website traffic and user behavior
Prepare regular reports on campaign performance and cost efficiency for clinic operations team and WWH leadership
Use data to continuously refine and improve marketing efforts
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have most of the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
2-4years of marketing experience, preferably in a health care or patient-facing setting
Willingness and ability to travel to clinic locations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
Experience managing digital platforms for a brand or organization, including online reputation management
Basic understanding of SEO, paid social, digital analytics, and performance reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge Canva and WordPress
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with clinical teams, agencies, and leadership
Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn
Physical & Remote Requirements
Must possess the ability and capability to perform any task in the office.
Must have excellent visual and hearing acuity.
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, managing time, priorities, and projects with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, leadership, and external partners across multiple states.
Comfort with using new or different communications and IT tools as needed.
Ability to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while staying adaptable to shifting priorities.
