Sr. Customer Solutions Manager

Overview
AWS Global Sales leads adoption of AWS cloud worldwide. The Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) helps customers realize sustained business value, accelerate their transformation journey, and build modern, cloud‑native solutions. The role is strategic, requiring strong technical, program management, organizational change, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Help customers design and execute strategic migrations to AWS cloud and build cloud‑native solutions.

Work backwards from customer objectives, use AWS best practices, and design and execute frictionless cloud adoption experiences.

Earn trust across the customer organization, identify opportunities, uncover use cases, establish roadmaps, capture success criteria, and orchestrate advanced technical architectures.

Drive execution excellence for the end‑to‑end customer cloud journey, including technical, operational, organizational, and educational components.

Collaborate with sales, solution architecture, enterprise support, product development, professional services, and partners.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or business field.

7+ years of leading large‑scale technical or engineering programs with proven thought leadership and business impact.

4+ years of customer‑facing work engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners.

Travel up to 30% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of professional work experience, or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.

Experience with problem solving, disruptive innovation, and developing technology programs.

Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects.

Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery.

Locations: San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; New York, NY; Herndon, VA; Seattle, WA.

Salary range (USD annually): $153,600.00 – $239,000.00.
