Description

Responsibilities

Ensure the individuals you are working with are safe and in a therapeutic treatment environment.
Plan and implement residential program services for assigned clients.
Assist in providing supervision of clients in program activities and leisure time.
Provide leadership, guidance and support to staff.
Shift Details

Available shifts: 7a‑3:30p and 3p‑11:30p, off one day throughout the week and every other Saturday and Sunday. Requires one week of orientation, M‑F, 9a‑5p in West Chester.

Rate of $25.00 to $28.50 an hour.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline (psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, health, recreation, criminal justice, counseling, etc.) and a minimum of two years direct care experience; OR 60 college credits with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline and three years direct care experience.
Experience:

Minimum one year of supervisory experience required.
Physical Requirements:

Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques – upwards of 75‑100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Occasional use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches (SP&A) techniques.
