The Client Portfolio Manager, Content collaborates with CPM teammates to write, review and/or edit a range of Nuveen thought leadership and other investment-related content in support of Nuveen’s sales/distribution efforts and other business priorities. The role ensures editorial quality, consistency of messaging and maintenance of Nuveen brand guidelines in line with the highest professional standards.Key Responsibilities and DutiesWrite, edit and/or review the following content:Weekly economic, market and/or asset class-specific pieces, including the CIO Weekly or others that may be created or assignedMonthly performance commentaries for Nuveen equity, fixed income and real assets UCITS and/or Luxembourg fundsMonthly market or asset class updates to meet non-U.S. and/or institutional client-specific requests, such as global equities review/outlook for JapanQuarterly performance commentaries for Nuveen mutual funds, closed-end funds, retail and/or institutional SMAs, CREF variable annuity accounts and other portfolios/strategies as assignedQuarterly asset class reviews & outlooks, such as the Bond Market Review & Outlook, Equities Market Outlook or others that may be created or assignedWhite papers, including evergreen subjects with annual updates (e.g., asset class primers), ad hoc economic, market, asset class and investment strategy themes, and other thematic thought leadership pieces as assignedInternal-use materials, such as weekly market updates or talking points on current issues or topics relevant to client-facing business partnersAs backup to the head of the CPM Content team for executive communications, provide direct editorial support to Nuveen CIO’s social media and Global Investment Committee (GIC) content as assignedLiaise with Marketing and/or Compliance (via AdMaster submission review platform) as needed to ensure successful content outcomesPerform editorial/logistical/project support (e.g., research, CPM self-produced layout) as assignedEducational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredWork Experience3+ Years Required; 5+ Years PreferredFINRA RegistrationsSRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63Physical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary WorkCareer Level7ICRequired QualificationsMinimum 3+ years in a writing and editing role at an asset manager or other investment/financial services firmFINRA series 7 & 63 or ability to obtain within 6 monthsPreferred Qualifications5+ years in a writing and editing role within an asset managerExperience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentDemonstrated ability and comfort level to work with high-level investment professionals and senior executive managementRelated SkillsAnalytical Skills, Asset/Investment Modeling, Asset Allocation, Asset Management, Communication, Economic Analysis, Financial Risk Management, Forecasting, Investment Research/Analysis, Investments, Investment Strategy Acumen, ProgrammingAnticipated Posting End Date:2026-06-04Base Pay Range: $88,900/yr - $124,000/yrActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
