We’re looking for a hungry and energetic emerging practitioner. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in digital buying, specifically in biddable media channels like programmatic, social, and search. Skills and aptitude are critical on our team, but we’re also looking for plain ‘ole good humans. A person who runs fast, works smart, and brings a smile to the office (or the video call) every day.

The Specialist must demonstrate strong competency of the fundamentals necessary to tactical planning, activating and managing biddable media campaigns. They’ll partner across our organization to build strategic plans designed with a business objective in mind. Once our measurement plan is set, they will work closely with the total team to ensure flawless execution of campaigns from setup through billing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with leadership and peers to develop solutions that will enhance our operational efficiency, tools, and systems, and improve current workflows

Continuous refinement of digital operations process to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, error‑free deliverables

Maintain professional working relationships with clients and coworkers

Analyze and interpret data trends and develop improvement solutions; educate Client Services / Campaign Managers on changes to process and reoccurring issues

Support internal clients in launching and maintaining campaigns

Proactively lead campaign build to ensure flawless execution

Keep up with day‑to‑day management of the media plan’s performance

Manage the sending and confirmation of insertion orders

Review and ensure media buys are properly executed

Manage gathering screenshots and launch reports at the beginning of campaigns

Monitor campaign performance and formulate recommendations for optimizations

Meet with sales reps to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles/tactics for media plan

Assist in development of media strategy and recommendation and helping with elements of client presentations

Maintain invoices by ensuring receipt and prompt payment through the approval process

Coordinate month‑end billing process with agency Finance Team

Manage the team’s daily duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all documents

Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department head

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 years’ work experience in biddable media required (digital ad operations experience a plus) and can demonstrates a history of being able to quickly learn and adapt in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Knowledgeable in Google Campaign Manager (GCM)

Experience with self‑service trade desk operation

GoogleAds and Bing certification a plus

Bachelor’s degree or coursework in related industry a plus but not required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)

Aptitude for building formulas, macros and V‑lookups

Detail oriented, strong organizational and planning skills

Self‑motivated, success driven individual with a proven track record

Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills

Ability to accurately handle multiple simultaneous activities on tight deadlines

Shows strong team building skills

Demonstrates good judgment and problem‑solving skills

Driven to master new skills

Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, follow‑up

Working knowledge of advertising products and fulfillment procedures

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management

Strong analytical capabilities with aptitude for determining the optimal ways to setup, deliver, troubleshoot, and QA campaigns.

Please Note : This is a hybrid position requiring a combination of in‑office work at our Chicago location and remote work from home. The specific schedule will be finalized upon hire. We are only looking for candidates in/around the Chicago Metro Area and do not offer relocation assistance.

Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $55,000 – $65,000. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
