Part-tune Trumpet Instructor - After School Private Lesson Program
Sept 2026 to early June 2027
Hourly Pay: $53.00 per teaching hour

Location:

Franklin High School

Schedule:

1-2 afternoons/evenings per week. The number of hours is dependent upon student enrollment. Applicants select the day (Monday – Thursday) that works best for their schedule. Lessons are offered between 2:30–8:00 PM. Applicant can choose a specific time frame within that, preferably at least three hours.

Benefits:

This position is not benefits eligible.

Requirements:

Professional musician with prior experience teaching one-on-one lessons to students of varying abilities.

Extensive knowledge of sheet music and curriculum appropriate to students of varying abilities.

Offer will be contingent upon successfully passing Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).

Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Anticipated Start Date:

September 2026. Exact date to be determined.

Additional Details:

Private music lessons are offered to elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as adults. Instructors are Franklin Public Schools employees and are paid bi-weekly.
