Marketing Lead – Toblerone US

The Marketing Lead will unlock Toblerone’s global brand in the U.S. market by translating global brand strategies into locally relevant plans, managing local business performance, adapting communications, and working across Sales, agencies and the global team to deliver impactful marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, report, and forecast U.S. external sales and drive in‑year corrective actions.
Adapt and translate global communications, campaigns and toolkits for U.S. cultural relevance and channel fit.
Brief and manage local media and creative agencies ensuring on‑brand, on‑time deliverables.
Partner with the U.S. sales team to build and commercialise the local marketing launch plan, including POS execution and retail‑specific activations.
Own the local Advertising & Consumer budget, ensuring efficient allocation and maximum brand impact and ROI.
Execute the global portfolio strategy locally via PPA and portfolio customisation to meet the needs of U.S. customers and channels.
Collaborate with the global team, local cross‑functional partners (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) and agencies for seamless execution.
Recruit and onboard a Brand Manager (SG10) by year end, establishing the foundation of the U.S. Toblerone marketing team.
Qualifications
Higher education degree, ideally in Marketing or a related field.
8+ years of marketing experience, at least 5 in FMCG.
Proven experience adapting and executing brand strategies in a local market within a global framework.
Experience managing media agencies and Advertising & Consumer budgets.
Strong commercial acumen with experience working closely with sales teams.
Experience in portfolio and pricing strategy execution.
Strong analytical skills and comfort with sales data and forecasting.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Results‑driven mindset with a bias for action.
Ability to balance global brand consistency with local market relevance.
High organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a remote reporting structure.
Experience or appetite for people management and team building.
Ability to work across cultures and time zones.
Fluency in English.
Benefits
Base salary range of \$140,300 to \$192,940. Eligible for a bonus program with over‑achievement potential. Benefits include health insurance, wellness and family support programmes, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave, education‑related programmes, paid holidays and vacation time. Relocation support not available.
