Responsibilities
Assist in the development, organization, delivery, and administration of sports leagues, tournaments, youth programs, camps, clinics, activities, and special events.
Assist in planning, scheduling, staffing, and directing games, facilities, officials, instructors, scorekeepers, and program staff.
Assist with program setup, breakdown, registration, customer communication, and operational execution.
Help recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and support part-time staff, coaches, instructors, and program personnel.
Ensure a high level of customer service for all participants, guests, coaches, and families.
Assist with maintaining program standards, policies, and operational expectations.
Assist in monitoring registration numbers, program participation, and operational reporting.
Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to support program promotion and visibility.
Assist with maintaining equipment inventory and program supplies. Handle customer-related matters professionally while supporting a positive participant experience.
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure the smooth operation of leagues, tournaments, camps, and facility programming.
Maintain knowledge of and adherence to ESM/MSEC policies, rules, and regulations.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisory personnel and/or the General Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management, Sport Management, Physical Education, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in sports programming, recreation, event operations, youth programming, or related field preferred
Demonstrated leadership ability and strong organizational skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build relationships with participants, parents, coaches, and guests
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Basic working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office preferred

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
The Programs Coordinator may work indoors in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment or outdoors in ambient weather conditions depending on programming needs.
