Trauma Speaks is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Volunteer Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that supports our mission and enhances our outreach efforts. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about storytelling, social impact, and multimedia production.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage to create engaging, polished content for social media, websites, and promotional materials.
Collaborate with the team to understand project objectives and desired outcomes.
Enhance video with graphics, animations, transitions, and audio to deliver a professional final product.
Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all video content.
Manage video files, organize footage, and maintain an efficient workflow.
Provide creative input to improve content effectiveness and engagement.
Qualifications:
Experience with video editing (currently only using Canva for the organization)
Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual storytelling.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and sound editing is a plus.
Passion for the nonprofit sector and mental health.
