Overview
We are hiring a Sales Account Executive in our Lamar office in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role focuses on developing long-term outdoor advertising relationships with businesses in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports.

Target businesses in the assigned area and visit existing Lamar clients as well as competitors' accounts within a specified time frame.

Develop a working knowledge of local and national competition and cluster accounts for efficient coverage.

Identify potential growth areas, open new accounts, and conduct prospect research using Lamar computer tools.

Prepare proposals, written presentations, and research to present to clients.

Engage in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows.

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans and follow up on client production orders.

Maintain organized and up-to-date records of clients and sales activity.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Current and valid driver's license.

College degree preferred.

Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

CRM experience preferred.

Comfort making cold calls and in-person sales visits.

Ability to deliver oral presentations and clearly articulate policies and procedures.

Effective communication with a diverse range of people.

Strong time management, self-organization, and adaptability to fluctuating workloads.

Intrinsic motivation and resilience against rejection.

Ability to meet sales quota and apply general sales techniques.

First-year earning potential of $50,000 - $75,000 including commissions (potentially unlimited with no commission cap).
