Job Summary
Our International Casting team is looking for an intern passionate about the entertainment industry to help expand global talent for Disney Entertainment Television across LATAM, APAC, EMEA, and Canada. The role focuses on research, relationship building, and supporting casting activities to bring diverse international talent into U.S. productions.

About the Role & Program
The internship is full‑time, from August 2026 through December 2026, reporting directly to the Manager of Casting. A cover letter indicating interest in the International Casting Intern Fall 2026 position is required.

What You Will Do
You will maintain day‑to‑day operations, keep materials, files, and communications organized, and anticipate upcoming needs so nothing is missed. You will also provide administrative assistance, written communications, and project coordination while shadowing meetings and calls to gain exposure to international casting processes.

Responsibilities

Conduct research on up‑and‑coming international actors and talent across key regions (Latin America, APAC, EMEA, Canada).

Track and analyze international entertainment trends, shows, and talent trajectories to support casting decisions and department strategy.

Maintain and update international casting databases (AirTable, Qwire, SharePoint), phone sheet (Edge), and project status tracker in Excel.

Track upcoming international film festivals (TIFF, San Sebastián, Venice) to identify notable films and industry trends.

Coordinate and manage talent meetings, including booking conference rooms, setting up spaces, and escorting talent.

Read incoming scripts, write detailed character breakdowns, and support projects across Disney Entertainment Television.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to assume responsibility and work independently with minimal supervision.

A sense of urgency and proactive mindset.

Strong time‑management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and maintain integrity and discretion with confidential information.

Proficiency in Canva.

Preferred Qualifications

International experience or cultural awareness, such as studies or living abroad.

Bilingual proficiency preferred, but not required.

Comfort with AI tools.

Experience with iMovie, Adobe, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, QuickTime and editing/uploading actor materials.

Previous internship or volunteer experience in production, casting offices, or talent agencies.

Education

Senior year of college preferred.

Majors or minors in Film Studies, Film Production, Theatre Arts, Writing, Fine Arts, Business, Communications.

Participation in acting classes or theatre.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Enrolled in an accredited college/university, completing at least one class at time of application, or currently with a Disney College Program or internship.

Current Disney interns or program participants may work for only one consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of internship and/or program.

At least 18 years old.

Unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

Consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.

Full availability Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm PT, 40 hours per week.

Provide own housing in the Burbank, CA area.

Provide reliable transportation to/from work.
