About the Role
As a
Senior Commercial Contracts Specialist , you will support the sales and services organizations by managing, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements. This role is responsible for ensuring contracts align with company policies while protecting business interests, supporting revenue growth, and improving contracting processes. You will also serve as a mentor and subject‑matter resource for other team members.
What You’ll Do
Contract Management:
Manage the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle from drafting through execution, including reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing commercial agreements.
Redlining & Commercial Terms:
Review and respond to redlined contracts, negotiating key commercial terms related to pricing, invoicing, renewals, and payment terms while ensuring compliance with company standards.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance contract workflows, improve throughput, and implement best practices to drive efficiency and consistency.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to support timely deal execution and revenue impact.
Training & Mentorship:
Provide guidance and training to junior team members and internal partners on contract management processes and best practices.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of contract law, commercial negotiation principles, and contract drafting.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, with strong awareness of the sales process and its impact on revenue and billings.
