The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing support for Sales Department Managers. Frequent interaction with all hotel departments. Primary responsibility is based on the below parameters in order to aid in securing bookings for the resort.
Essential Functions
Answer Phones must be able to answer phones while doing work, be pleasant, and take accurate messages.
Contracts & Addendums require putting together a large amount of information accurately and without typos.
Proposals in Word or PowerPoint, these can be very detailed and require patience. Also will aid and assist in checking on-line booking engines and assigning leads to managers and also responding on those sources.
Site Alerts, Amenities & Gifts filling out forms for amenities and typing up cards to go with them, may also include choosing amenities for guests from our shops and having them mailed out.
Travel Assistance/Expense Reports Assist with information forwarded to them or a client that they are unable to access from the road. Managers often need help preparing for trips, getting information, etc. Prepare detailed expense reports for Director Approval.
Share in Lead (RFP) Assignments following the sales guidelines and deployment models.
Delphi Input & Maintenance entering full bookings, meeting space, notes for managers, adjusting names and addresses, and looking up group information for other departments.
Check email throughout the day, as sales managers may forward an email from a client requesting info to be sent, etc. Email should be organized so that nothing gets missed and so that you can easily reference past emails.
Education
High School Diploma required.
Experience
Must have a proven track record with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have at least 2 years of customer service experience.
Hospitality experience preferred.
Previous experience in Sales, Marketing or Public Relations preferred.
OnQ experience a plus.
Delphi experience a plus.
Compensation
