Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Coordinator will assist in the execution of CCFCS’s marketing strategies, communications and public relations activities. The role advances awareness of the organization’s mission, protects brand reputation, and drives partner and donor support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Graphic Design and Content Creation/Coordination (40%)
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
Assist in the creation of print collateral for the agency and program‑specific collateral
Create Power‑point decks and graphics for the agency website or internal intranet
Design miscellaneous materials for events as needed
Social Media Coordination (30%)
Conceptualize and create editorial content for integrated social media platforms
Maintain proficiency across all social platforms
Coordinate content across platforms and create organic and paid posts
Analyze and report on social media metrics to guide strategy
Respond to comments and messages with guidance from the Director
Assist with interviewing, writing, and coordinating story sharing of client and staff successes
Assist with story creation and design content for corporate and community partners, donors
Monitor media mentions and respond to reviews or inquiries as directed
Website/Intranet Updates and Management (20%)
Implement content and graphic updates on the agency website
Collaborate with the web consultant on new page creation and template updates
Implement updates to agency intranet pages managed by Marketing and Communications
Marketing and Branding (5%)
Support development and execution of an agency‑wide brand identity project
Maintain internal and external brand engagement standards
Assist in rebuilding and managing the marketing library, including guidelines for logo use, email signatures, and templates
Other (5%)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
Assist in planning and executing press events such as ribbon cuttings and speaking engagements
Collaborate with Development/Marketing team on donor engagement strategies as needed
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client, staff, or donor information
Participate in agency meetings and training sessions
Actively pursue professional development through reading, supervision, in‑service training, and attendance at conferences and workshops
Support the Agency’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan, including core competency initiatives of collaboration, community focus, innovation, entrepreneurship, cultural competence, and diversity
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience
Minimum of two years of experience in marketing and communications
Demonstrated experience with all social media platforms, collateral support, and graphic design to advance organizational mission and goals
Successful writing and editing experience with a variety of online media for external audiences
Physical Demands / Work Environment
The employee frequently sits, talks, hears, stands, walks, uses hands to type, and performs light lifting.
