About The Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Backed by world‑class investors, operators, and sports & entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next‑generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we reimagine every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.

Role Summary
The Editorial team is responsible for the end‑to‑end editorial process on assigned projects, working closely with brand, design, and operations teams to create compelling and innovative trading card products.

Responsibilities

Develop text and statistics‑based card back content for collectible trading card products.

Select, assign and crop high‑quality, design‑appropriate photographic images for retouching and production.

Build and manage subject list in partnership with brand team.

Review proofs for accuracy and integrity.

Manage internal and external content providers.

Work with external photo retouching and prepress vendors throughout production, correction, and imposition cycles.

Create and maintain prepress budgets.

Master Card Factory and TPIA content management platforms.

Partner with project management team to create and execute prepress schedules.

Collaborate with brand and design teams to help develop themes and looks for assigned projects.

Participate in product review and brainstorming sessions for upcoming production cycles.

Qualifications

Knowledge of basketball preferred.

Recognition of player or talent likenesses, past and present.

Understanding of licensor style guides, colors, logos and markings.

Basic knowledge of graphic design, photographic principles, and print production.

Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines on multiple projects.

Organized and attentive to detail.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
