As a Regional Orthobiologic Business Manager, you will represent Baxter and our products with pride. Your deep understanding of our orthobiologic portfolio, combined with the confidence to share its value and quality, will build trust with surgeons and nurses who rely on Baxter’s solutions daily. You will develop and execute plans to maximize sales across your region, facilitate recruitment, training and management of independent distributors, and foster lasting relationships with key opinion leaders.
What you’ll be doing
Achieve sales quotas through a network of independent distributors and maintain the current business in the region.
Build and execute plans to drive surgeon and distributor adoption of Baxter’s bone graft solutions.
Develop a strong sustainable pipeline using company CRM and forecasting tools.
Identify and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders (orthopedic and neurosurgeons) in your region.
Supervise the recruitment, management, and training of independent distributors in the region, including field sales calls.
Provide support at key events in the United States and represent the company respectfully and courteously to all third‑party contacts and associates.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Clinical background and experience highly preferred (spine preferred). The successful candidate must have shown experience with hospital‑based selling in the operating room as well as leading a large territory.
Ability to employ a hunter mentality and take personal accountability for achieving strong results. Proven ability to negotiate, execute, manage, and enforce sales contracts.
Effective communication of product value proposition and comprehensive clinical information through strong negotiation and presentation skills, coupled with deep knowledge of sales processes and business acumen.
Ability to work autonomously to achieve established goals and adapt to market dynamics to forecast effectively.
Travel requirement at least 50% and a valid driver’s license required.
Compensation and Benefits
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and strive for transparency.
The estimated pay range for this position is 80=8,000 to 121,000 annually. The range may be adjusted based on market data and other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) which provides the opportunity to earn incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
