Remote SLED District Sales Leader

Job Summary
As a District Sales Manager SLED, you will lead a team of field sellers and help formulate and execute a strategy to maximize business growth. You are instrumental in developing and managing your team to generate revenue and achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas.

Location & Travel
This role is remote. However, the position may require travel for business meetings and events. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

Deeply understand customer needs by researching and developing insights into their priorities

Support your team by participating in and leading prospect meetings

Deep dive into weekly territory pipeline and forecasting activities to coach direct reports on strategies to drive closure

Actively engage in territory planning, relationship development, and opportunity generation to drive revenue

Lead a high‑performance sales culture that delivers results in bookings, sales development, and forecast accuracy while mentoring and developing your team

Apply deep technical knowledge of our portfolio to take a holistic approach to solving customer problems

Drive and oversee team selling opportunities

Hold team and yourself accountable to achieve challenging goals while maintaining a forward‑thinking approach when faced with setbacks

Communicate with leaders at all levels, including C‑suite, and establish open and trusting relationships

Influence others through change management and develop a winning team, including recruiting, hiring, and training while upholding core values

Qualifications

Experience and knowledge of SaaS‑based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security, selling into the SLED vertical

Proven experience leading a SLED sales team

Experience with channel and partner sales models

Proven leadership skills to create high‑performing teams in a rapidly growing sales environment

Year‑over‑year track record of successful sales pipeline management and results

Highly driven with an execution focus and strong sense of urgency, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset

Track record of consistently delivering revenue numbers and goals while maintaining focus on team development and growth

Capacity to manage significant client escalations and issues effectively

Excellent at influencing others, both externally and internally; ability to communicate effectively and build consensus across functional groups to achieve goals

Strong team player who builds excellent rapport and collaboration with cross‑functional teams

Compensation
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For successful candidates, the base salary (or base salary + commission target) ranges from $332,400.00 to $457,050.00 per year. The offering may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
