Born in Venice, California, the brand is rooted in movement, thoughtful design, and the feeling of saltwater, sunlight, and freedom. Bell's exists for women who feel most like themselves in the ocean — and want swimwear that moves with them through everything that comes after.

Signature bikini charms and playful details make each piece feel personal — designed to move with you from sand to social. We're heads‑down in sourcing and pattern development, building toward a mid‑September 2026 launch. Our Instagram is small (~150 followers) and intentional, with brand voice and visual direction already in place. We're hiring the right person to take it the distance.
The Role
You will run the day‑to‑day of our social presence — primarily Instagram, with TikTok and Pinterest as growth channels — from now through and beyond launch. You'll work directly with the founder, with a clear content strategy already in place that you'll evolve as we grow.
This is a high‑leverage role at a defining moment for the brand. The person who takes this on will help shape the way the world meets Bell's Bikinis. Ideal for someone that wants more creative freedom – we want you to help shape the public perception of our brand.
What you'll do
Plan and publish 3–5 weekly feed posts (mix of reels, carousels, and grid) plus daily stories across IG and TikTok
Shoot, edit, and produce short‑form video using founder‑provided B‑roll, product photography, and self‑filmed content
Write captions in our brand voice — warm, founder‑led, surf‑coastal, never corporate
Manage community: reply to DMs, comments, and story interactions within 24 hours
Identify and engage with sister brands, surf creators, and aligned female founders to drive discovery
Run a coordinated launch campaign in August–September
Track and report on weekly KPIs: follower growth, save rate, comment rate, profile visits, waitlist conversions
Collaborate on monthly content shoots and the August Mexico campaign trip
Be willing to travel to Mexico for said campaign trip in late August/early September
What we're looking for
2+ years managing social media for a fashion, swim, beauty, or DTC lifestyle brand (in‑house or agency)
A portfolio showing accounts you've grown — especially small accounts (under 10k) you've taken to meaningful scale
Strong short‑form video chops — fluent in CapCut, comfortable shooting on iPhone, an eye for the first three seconds
Caption writing that reads human, not AI — please include 2–3 caption samples in your application
Clear taste alignment: your own social feeds or your client work should make us go "yes, exactly"
A collaborative communication style — you ask questions, you flag issues early, you don't disappear for a week
Nice to have
Personal connection to surf, swim, or ocean lifestyle
Experience with influencer/creator seeding programs
Pinterest strategy experience
Basic graphic design (Canva fluency minimum)
Email marketing or Klaviyo experience for cross‑channel coordination
Compensation & structure
We're hiring as a 1099 contractor with the intent to extend or transition to a fuller role post‑launch if it's working for both sides.
Hourly rate: $30–55/hr based on experience, OR monthly retainer of $1,800–3,200 for ~15–20 hrs/week
First 60 days are a mutually‑evaluated trial period
Mostly remote work, async‑friendly, with a weekly 1‑hour meeting (ideally in person in the Venice area)
Product credits and seeded swimwear once samples are ready
Travel covered for the August 2026 Mexico campaign shoot
What success looks like at 90 days
Instagram audience grown to a meaningful, engaged base with a healthy save and reply rate
TikTok presence established with a clear content engine and rising view counts
A coordinated launch campaign live and converting waitlist sign‑ups
A repeatable content production rhythm the founder can trust without daily oversight
We've made each other better — clearer brand voice, sharper visual direction, faster decisions
