The Wanderers Club is a casual, multi-generational private golf and country club in the heart of the equestrian community of Wellington, Florida. The Club’s full array of amenities and services are centered around families, sports and the equestrian lifestyle found only in Wellington. We serve

a vibrant community of more than 600 Member families in areas ranging from golf, racquet, and swimming to childcare, events, and dining.


Overview

The Wanderers Club is seeking a creative and driven Marketing & Communications Manager to support the Club’s marketing, member communications, events, branded collateral, and digital presence. This role is ideal for an ambitious early-career professional seeking hands-on experience across hospitality, branding, content creation, and member engagement within a fast-paced private club environment, with opportunity for long-term growth and leadership development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation and execution of printed and digital marketing materials for Club events, tournaments, promotions, and member programming.
  • Collaborate with Club departments to develop menus, signage, flyers, posters, and templated marketing collateral.
  • Manage a marketing calendar and project workflow, ensuring departments submit requests, assets, and deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and timely event, dining, and programming information across Club communication channels.
  • Manage the Club’s presence on website and other digital platforms.
  • Manage the Club’s Instagram and LinkedIn profiles, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Maintain consistent Club voice, photography standards, design quality, and visual presentation across all materials.
  • Contribute to business development, strategic presentations, and special projects, including the Club’s Jonas member portal.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors, printers, photographers, and creative partners as needed.
  • Create and update Club and membership collateral when needed.
  • Conduct photography and videography shoots and coordinate outside vendors as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits of Club signage and marketing materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Attend regularly scheduled department head and Club meetings and calls.
  • Supervise and help develop part-time intern and/or seasonal marketing support staff.
  • Identify opportunities to improve member communication, engagement, and overall brand presentation across the Club experience.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; marketing or communications major preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Experience with photography, including capturing and selecting high-quality images for use in marketing and promotional materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be flexible, solution-oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Strong editorial judgment, including the ability to simplify information, catch inconsistencies, and improve copy before publication.
  • Experience in hospitality, private clubs, events, or lifestyle brands preferred.
  • This position is best suited for someone who enjoys being highly involved in day-to-day Club operations, can shift quickly between creative and operational tasks, and takes pride in producing polished work on tight timelines.
