Middleware Developer

Yellow Duck Technologies is seeking a TS/SCI FSP cleared Middleware Developer to support a microservice ecosystem with several user interfaces. Project management is done using feature driven development. The candidate will be working with mission critical systems. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Java microservice web applications, working closely with tech lead on technical decisions and product roadmap, resolving challenging software engineering design problems, interacting with customers to resolve issues and propose new features, and supporting testing and deployment of production applications. Requirements include an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, 14+ years, B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional years in place of B.S., experience with design, debugging, and problem solving with Java, Spring Boot experience or development with a similar Java framework, RESTful web service experience, experience interacting with MongoDB or similar database technology, and experience with automated unit, integration, and external integration testing. Nice to haves include full stack experience including UI development with a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular), experience with automated build tools, continuous integration, and continuous deployment, experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes), and Kafka experience.
