Digital Content Writer Specialist
This is a Contract Position for 3–6 Months (40 hours)
Must Work Onsite in Irving Texas 3 days weekly

OVERVIEW
Digital Content Writer Specialist to support a large-scale website content migration and digital content optimization initiative. This role will focus on rewriting, organizing, updating, and maintaining digital content across internal and external web platforms.

The ideal candidate brings strong digital writing experience combined with hands-on CMS exposure and the ability to work across multiple business units.
This position is heavily focused on content quality, web publishing, and digital communication strategy rather than graphic design or frontend development.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Strong background in digital writing, web content management, or content strategy
Hands-on experience working within CMS platforms
Experience providing writing samples such as blogs, website copy, digital articles, or communication materials
Experience supporting both internal and external digital communications
Ability to manage multiple content requests and stakeholder relationships simultaneously
Strong proofreading, editing, and organizational skills
Experience reviewing and maintaining website content in enterprise environments
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience with Simplr CMS
Exposure to SEO and digital content optimization best practices
Understanding of AI-driven search and generative search optimization concepts
Exposure to analytics, reporting, or media engagement metrics
Experience with Power BI, media analytics, or content performance reporting is a plus
SOFT SKILLS
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple departments and business teams
Polished presentation and interview communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong ownership mentality and ability to work independently
Collaborative personality with a proactive approach to content management and digital communications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, edit, migrate, and maintain digital content across enterprise web platforms
Manage webpage updates, content publishing, and ongoing CMS-related content maintenance
Partner with internal stakeholders and business units to gather, organize, and publish accurate content
Review and improve existing website content for clarity, consistency, usability, and engagement
Support content cleanup and standardization efforts tied to ongoing website migration initiatives
Write and optimize digital content for evolving search behavior, including AI-driven and generative search experiences
Assist with blogs, digital communications, announcements, and web-based communication materials
Collaborate closely with digital marketing, communications, and web teams to ensure content alignment and accuracy

Estimated Min Rate : $35.00
Estimated Max Rate : $55.00
