You will also be responsible for actively seeking new business opportunities resulting in profitable growth by qualifying and commercializing new volume from marketing leads, cold calls, and other sources. We are seeking a high potential candidate with the desire for a significant level of responsibility who will have a major impact on the company with opportunity to develop and grow in their career. This position can be remotely based in the Midwest./ppWhat Youll Be Doing:/pulliResponsible for identifying opportunities and market analysis within territory. Analyze customer and market needs and areas where we can deliver value/liliRigorously prospect and follow leads to develop and secure new business./liliDevelop key relationships at all levels and within key functional areas with existing customers and prospects./liliComfortable with Virtual Selling and using technology to enhance effectiveness in prospecting efforts/liliStakeholder mapping of customer/prospect organizations and development of deep, wide relationships in key functional areas of purchasing, supply chain, sustainability, packaging RD, operations, sales and marketing./liliIdentify customer pain and position value./liliLeverage internal resources and collaborate effectively across technical, graphics, customer service, operations, and other internal functions to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth./liliDevelop and implement account and territory growth plans to increase sales with a range of customer decision makers./liliDevelop and maintain an updated and accurate sales funnel, through CRM./liliManage territory travel to optimize interaction with customers and budget./li/ulpWed love to hear from you if:/pulliBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline./liliMinimum of 3 years of sales experience or a strong technical background, with packaging or flexible packaging experience preferred./liliSolid understanding of key drivers within packaging environment; track record of developing product and price positioning strategies that maximize profitability while driving growth./liliDemonstrated track record of securing new customers while expanding share within existing customers./liliAbility to work both independently and as part of a team. Capable of orchestrating internal resources to implement growth plans./liliDemonstrated ability to identify key decision makers and build strong, working relationships./liliStrong analytical skills/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills including strong negotiation and presentation skills./liliTravel throughout territory required./li/ulpMust-Haves/pulliSales in food packaging or flexible packaging/liliMinimum of 3 years of sales experience or a strong technical background, with packaging or flexible packaging experience preferred./liliSolid understanding of key drivers within packaging environment; track record of developing product and price positioning strategies that maximize profitability while driving growth./li/ul/div
