Job Description
Senior Technical Writer position at Ameriprise Bank FSB located in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities
To create and update policies, procedures, and reference documents for bank processes. Create job aids and draft letters/forms used for bank products. Maintain appropriate styles to meet documentation guidelines. Manage scheduled updates for procedure documentation, coordinate process changes through change control, and submit changes to the knowledge management system. Provide indirect coaching and review of documentation across the bank. Work on site four days a week with flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in the financial industry covering analyzing and organizing business processes, process and workflow capture techniques, mapping and documentation, using workflow tools such as Microsoft Visio, and experience with software development concepts and process improvement and quality management principles such as Lean and Six Sigma.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range $69,701 - $96,100 per year. The role may be eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and long-term incentives. The company offers a comprehensive benefits program that includes vacation time, sick leave, 401(k), health, dental, and life insurance.
