Engagement Manager - Core Banking Solutions
Lead engagements within the Community Banking and Credit Union marketplace, focusing on core banking modernisation and integration.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary client point of contact during delivery, ensuring successful completion of complex banking technology projects.
- Lead discovery sessions, document engagement scope, and develop roadmaps for core banking modernization and integration initiatives with subject‑matter experts.
- Manage the end‑to‑end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to design and implement solutions that align with client objectives.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposal development.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of banking technology consulting, with at least 3 years in client‑facing leadership roles.
- Core banking expertise with Jack Henry, FIS, Fiserv, and related legacy systems.
- Strong record of integrating core banking systems with ancillary applications (payments, lending, CRM, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of the U.S. community banking and credit union market, including regulatory requirements.
- Consultancy background with proven client‑facing and engagement management skills.
- Project leadership experience managing complex projects, budgets, and timelines while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- PMP or equivalent project‑management certification is a plus.
Compensation & Location
Remote – Compensation range: $130,000–$195,000 per year.
