Manager, Paid Search (SEM) – Ovative Group
Ovative Group is looking for an experienced Manager of Paid Search (SEM) to lead client programs and drive enterprise impact across paid media.
Responsibilities
- Client relationship management: Own, manage, and grow the overall relationship and performance of Ovative Group’s largest clients.
- Lead day‑to‑day management of client paid search programs including: define program objectives, tactics and KPIs; develop and deliver client communication; establish trust and credibility; influence stakeholders to evolve strategies and measurement approaches.
- Team leadership and employee development: recruit, train, and manage new team members; foster an open communication culture and 360‑degree feedback; coach to reach goals.
- Cross‑functional strategy and thought leadership: act as a subject‑matter expert for paid search strategies, partner with SEO, retail media, and upper‑funnel teams; develop multi‑channel digital media strategies and roadmaps.
- Performance media management & execution: guide, manage, and QA optimization of paid search programs; plan and execute strategies with integrated services; optimize bidding; manage strategic partners (Google, Microsoft, SA360, etc.); identify tests; provide custom analysis and insights.
- Utilize AI and holistic search capabilities to improve business outcomes.
Qualifications
- 5–6+ years of experience managing enterprise‑level paid search marketing programs.
- Proven track record of delivering strong positive results through paid search marketing.
- Mastery of performance‑based, direct‑response search marketing programs, paid search technology tools (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, etc.), and external partner management.
- Preferred experience in performance marketing, retail, or eCommerce.
- Experience managing direct reports.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary: $90,000 – $132,000 (inclusive of a 20% bonus).
