Qualifications
- Extensive Lean Six Sigma Experience: Demonstrated expertise in Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred).
- Project & Program Leadership: Strong experience in leading and managing complex projects or programs, ideally within a manufacturing or operational context.
- Manufacturing Acumen: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and the challenges associated with shop floor environments.
- Change Management Expertise: Proven ability to navigate organizational change and drive adoption of new ways of working.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
- Action‑Oriented: A pragmatic, hands‑on approach with a strong bias for action and delivering results directly on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Serve as a key leader within the PDL program team, taking ownership of specific project streams and ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Lean & Six Sigma Implementation: Apply extensive Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, analyze processes, and implement data‑driven improvements across manufacturing operations.
- Hands‑on Execution: Directly engage with shop floor teams to implement changes, provide training, and ensure new processes and digital tools are effectively adopted. This is not a purely advisory role; "rolling up your sleeves" is essential.
- Change Management: Drive effective change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and broad acceptance of new processes and technologies across all levels of the organization.
- Stakeholder Communication: Comfortably interact with and communicate project status, challenges, and successes to all levels of the organization, from shop floor associates to senior leadership.
- Analytical Rigor: Utilize strong analytical skills to gather data, measure performance, and track the impact of transformation efforts.
