Job Description

Enrollment Management Videographer/Photographer Graduate Assistantship. Provides experience in higher education marketing and communications with a focus on video and photography.
Duties and Responsibilities

Capture and document university film footage to promote to prospective students
Record interviews and stories of students and alumni for email, web, and other media
Produce, edit, and package video content using Adobe Creative Suite
Plan scenes and direct actors during shoots
Set up and tear down camera and other equipment at shoots
Utilize editing software to add graphics, text, and special effects
Repackage video projects for social media
Research higher‑education video marketing trends
Assist with video archiving and related tasks
Reach out to faculty, staff, and students for testimonials needed for various projects
Coordinate student or alumni photo shoots
Assist with taking headshots for enrollment management and admissions marketing testimonials
Capture high‑quality still images at on‑campus and off‑campus events
Edit and retouch photos in Lightroom and Photoshop while maintaining established color grading and style guidelines
Import, organize, and catalog images using file‑naming and folder structures
Pitch photo concepts and visual storytelling ideas for campaigns, social media beats, and student features
Assist in creating seasonal content plans for @mercernow, admissions emails, and web features
Qualifications

Fully admitted and enrolled as a degree‑seeking student in an eligible Mercer University graduate program (MBA, MEd in Higher Education Leadership, or MSTCM)
Successfully complete graduate assistantship application and interview process
Maintain a full‑time, graduate‑level course load each term in which employed as a graduate assistant
Maintain good academic standing for the duration of the academic program
Complete the graduate program of study and assistantship in one academic year
Terms and Conditions

Minimum 20 hours per week of part‑time employment in the Office of Enrollment Management Marketing and Communications for the length of the program
Scholarship covering graduate tuition and required fees, university housing, campus meal plan, and a monthly stipend for books and incidentals for the length of the program
Scheduled hours: 25 hours per week
Start date: 08/04/2026; End date: 08/04/2027
