We create and deliver tailored marketing strategies for Expedia Group’s brands, focusing on establishing strong connections and cohesive experiences for travelers and partners.
In this role, you will:
Strategy & Thesis Building
Own the end-to-end strategy and outcomes for Business to Agent across agent channels, sequencing investment by economic contribution and maintaining a forward view on emerging agent surfaces.
Build and continuously refine theses on how agents search, evaluate, and transact, recognizing that agent archetypes differ meaningfully from each other and require bespoke approaches.
Translate theses into prioritized roadmaps and clear stay/invest/pass calls as the agent ecosystem evolves.
Agent Legibility & Access
Ensure EG’s inventory, pricing, policies, and loyalty signals are machine-readable and correctly interpreted across agent surfaces.
Drive expansion of EG’s presence into agent-specific indices, registries, and retrieval surfaces, and ensure EG is callable and usable wherever agents operate.
Identify and pull the small set of high-leverage levers per channel that drive agent visibility and access.
Agent Reasoning & Preference
Develop a research and experimentation agenda to understand how agents reason, rank, and recommend, drawing on observability tooling (e.g., chain-of-thought analysis), structured prompting of closed models, and emerging academic literature.
Translate learnings about agent preferences into agent-facing products, content, interfaces, and offerings, recognizing that agents may weight value, trust, and convenience differently than humans.
Operate a portfolio of agent-archetype strategies with a shared feedback loop across experimentation and research.
Experimentation & Productionalization
Define and operate a high-velocity experimentation system per channel, with clear hypotheses, decision criteria, and decision-grade readouts.
Translate experimental learnings into durable changes; product enhancements, expanded marketing surfaces, content systems, and offering adjustments – and rank what to productionalize against desirability, feasibility, and viability.
Shape the path toward end-to-end agent infrastructure as the category matures, including the harder unresolved problems of identity, authorization, and human-agent liability.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence
Lead a squad of senior engineers via dotted-line authority, operating as an AI-native, high-leverage, low-coordination-tax team that uses agents and automation to amplify output.
Partner cross-functionally with product, technology, marketing, brand, legal, and enterprise alliance teams to ship the changes that compound channel performance.
Embody failure-as-a-design-principle: move fast, including pivots when unsuccessful, and double down on signals of traction in a pre-playbook market.
Executive Communications & Presentations
Translate complex agent ecosystem dynamics, channel theses, and experimental learnings into clear, concise narratives for C-suite, board, and senior cross-functional audiences.
Represent Agentic Search in senior forums across the organization, framing trade-offs and recommendations with the structure and clarity expected at the executive level.
Serve as a thought leader on agent-driven markets internally and externally, producing research and point-of-view artifacts that shape how the broader organization thinks about the space.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years in product management, growth, or technical product leadership, with increasing scope and ownership.
Demonstrated zero-to-one track record: has built and scaled a net-new channel, capability, or product from inception to measurable commercial outcomes.
Highly technical: able to read and reason about web infrastructure, retrieval systems, agent tooling, structured data, and APIs well enough to build independently.
Proven track record of building strategy, theses, and execution for channels or platforms at meaningful scale, with strong experimentation discipline.
Strong executive communication: clean presentations, executive presence, and the ability to drive alignment across senior cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
Comfort with ambiguity, fast cycles, and high-velocity decision making in a pre-playbook market.
Preferred Qualifications
Founder or founder-adjacent experience strongly preferred; candidates who have started, scaled, or made early-stage investments in AI or platform businesses bring directly transferable pattern recognition.
Active immersion in the AI ecosystem; relationships with frontier labs, agent platforms, or AI-native startups treated as a meaningful signal of genuine engagement, not just familiarity.
