What You’ll Do
Calm has a wide range of consumer-facing partnerships across industries including travel, retailers, beauty, finance, sports, auto, consumer goods, and more. Partners are geographically spread from the USA to Australia and we’re expanding with new partnerships all the time. We are looking for a B2B Marketing Manager who is passionate about the intersection of tech and wellness to join our team. You will be responsible for building and executing enablement programs that generate B2B leads (i.e. potential partners) for Calm Consumer. Sitting within the Partnerships organization, this role is a dedicated marketing partner to our Business Development Managers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, MarComms, Data Science and Legal.
Partnership Lead Generation
Lead sales enablement and collateral development for the BD team; translating complex data and industry insights into persuasive storytelling through industry-specific pitch decks, case studies, and sales playbooks that accelerate the deal cycle
Develop and maintain a library of partner-facing and sales enablement assets (e.g., pitch decks, one-pagers, email templates, case studies, FAQs)
Support BDMs with customized collateral and messaging for top-tier or strategic partners
Plan and lead marquee in-person partner events (SXSW, Calm Partner Dinners...)
Own, manage and grow Calm Partnerships digital presence (LinkedIn, web) to generate warm leads
Content & Storytelling
Create B2B content tailored to partner audiences: thought leadership, solution briefs, case studies, infographics, and event and online content
Build and maintain partner narratives that articulate the "why us, why now" story for each priority vertical or segment
Surface and package success stories and proof points (e.g., metrics, testimonials, use cases) that BDMs can leverage in the field
Collaborate with SPMs to build data-driven decks for partner renewals, utilizing performance metrics and historical campaign data to prove long‑term ROI
Who You Are
5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 2 years focused on partner, channel, or field marketing (or equivalent experience closely supporting sales/BD teams)
Proven track record of sales enablement and collateral development which lead to increase in revenue
Demonstrated experience supporting a sales or BD organization, with strong empathy for field needs and dynamics
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives for different B2B audiences
Strong project management skills; highly organized, able to juggle multiple partner initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously
Comfort working with marketing and sales tools (e.g., Figma, basic design skills, building decks and visualizations, analytics dashboards)
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into insights and action
Keen sense for prioritization, both internally and externally with partners
A self-starter that isn’t afraid to step in when needed
You understand that collaboration and team play is key to success
Open to working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
BA/BS degree
Fluent in English
Nice to Haves
Experience in wellness, healthcare, tech environments
Background in partnerships, business development, or account‑based marketing
Experience building co‑marketing programs with enterprise or strategic partners
Familiarity with global or multi‑region campaigns and localized partner marketing
Salary and Benefits
Calm uses a geographic pay model that determines salaries based on the location where an employee lives. For this position, the base pay ranges across Calm’s pay tiers is as follows: $104,700 - $150,000. The base pay range represents the low and high end of Calm’s salary range for this position. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which include the successful candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications. Calm uses employee zip code to determine which pay range applies. This role is also eligible for equity plus comprehensive benefits plus 401k plus flexible time off.
