Job Summary

Clear Path for Veterans, Inc. (CPV or Clear Path) is a community-based organization delivering world-class, holistic programsand services to veterans and their families without condition. The ProgramManagerfor the SSGFoxSuicidePreventionGrantProgram(SPGP)playsapivotalroleintheimplementationandmanagementof grant-funded initiatives aimed at reducing suicide ratesamongveterans,particularly focusing on the SSG FoxSPGPdemographic. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the grant program,monitoring fiscal compliance, maintaining accurate documentation to meet federal reporting standards, ensuring all expenditures align with allowable costs under federal guidelines,coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the effective delivery of suicide prevention services to veterans. The ProgramManagerreports to theChief Impact Officerand works closely withClear Path’sgrantmanagement team,Veteran Support Services Team,VA officials, community partners, and mental health professionals.
Primary Functions

Management of SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program
Leadtheplanning,implementation,and evaluationofsuicidepreventionprogramsandactivities funded by the SSG FoxSPGP.
Developdetailedprojectplans,timelines,andbudgetsinaccordancewithgrantrequirementsand organizational goals.
Monitorgrantexpenditures,trackprogressagainstobjectives,andprepareregularreportsfor submission to the VA and other stakeholders.
Workcloselywithsubjectmatterexpertstodesignandimplementevidence-basedsuicideprevention interventions tailored to the unique needs of veterans.
Coordinatethedeliveryofmentalhealthservices,peersupportprograms,crisisintervention,andother supportive services to veterans at risk of suicide.
EnsurethatprogramactivitiesalignwiththeobjectivesoftheSSGFoxSPGPgrantand adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines.
Produce mid-year and EOY program performance and fiscal reports in collaboration with our grant managementand finance/accountingteams.
Facilitate bi-weekly Care Coordination meetings with the SSG Fox Team.
Function as the primary point of contact for annual program audits,facilitatingtimelycommunication with auditors and ensuring complete andaccuratesubmission of all requested documentation, operational processes, and fiscal reports to VArepresentatives
Engage with SSG Fox SPGP Peer Mentorsdailyto oversee service plan implementation, keep client filesaccurateand current, and support team members in their peer service delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationships

CultivateandmaintaincollaborativerelationshipswithVAofficials,veteranserviceorganizations, mental health providers, and community agencies/coalitions involved in suicide prevention efforts.
Serveastheprimarypointofcontactforgrant-relatedinquiries,communications,andcoordination with external partners.
Facilitateinternal and external meetings,workshops,andtrainingsto promoteinformationsharing,collaboration,andbest practices in suicide prevention.
Raiseawareness,through a targeted outreach strategy for suicidepreventionresourcesandservicesavailabletoSSGFoxveteransand their families through outreach activities, public awareness campaigns, and media engagements.
Advocateforpoliciesandfundinginitiativesthatsupportsuicidepreventioneffortsandaddressthe unique needs of SSG Fox veterans within the VA system and beyond.
RepresentClearPathforVeteransatcommunityevents,conferences,andmeetings to promote collaboration and partnership opportunities.
Administrative and Miscellaneous

Workwith Program Directorsand the ExecutiveLeadershipteamtodevelopandmanagethe coordination of programs and services related to the SSG Fox SPGP.
Establishdatacollectionprocedurestomonitorprogramoutcomes,includingchangesinsuiciderates, utilizationof services, and participant feedback.
Maintainaccuraterecordsofprogramactivities,expenditures,andoutcomes,andensurecompliance with grant reporting requirements.
Analyzeprogramdatatoidentifytrends,successes,andareasforimprovement,andusefindingsto inform programmatic decisions and strategies.
Maintainaccuratedataonallclientleads,existingaccounts,andotherclient-relatedactivitiesusing the VA Data Collection Tool,Salesforceand related processes.
Ensureprogramsurveysare administered to all SSG Fox SPGP participants asrequiredtomeasureoutcomesandimpact.
DevelopandpursueshortandlongtermregionalgoalsthatalignwiththeClearPathmission;createviablestrategies to achieve regional strategic goals.
Collect data and information regarding program outputs to include, but not limited to, the number of veterans and family members served, demographic data, and other metrics as requested by the leadershipteaminreportformusing the VA SSG Fox SPGP Data Collection Tool, VA SSG Fox SPGP data dashboards andSalesforce.
CompleteotherdutiesortasksassignedorneededtocompletejobresponsibilitiesandsupportClear Path’s mission.
Education and Experience Requirements

Master’s degree in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field, OR bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field combined with relevant work experience with veterans with mental health issues.
Previous experience in program coordination, project management, or grant administration, preferably in the field of veteran services or mental health.
Knowledge of suicide prevention principles, interventions, and best practices, with a focus on serving veterans and their families.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including veterans, VA officials, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Sensitivity to the unique experiences and needs of veterans at risk of suicide, with a commitment to providing culturally competent and inclusive services.
Familiarity with data collection and analysis techniques, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of veterans and their communities.
