ST Radio, part of Sarkes Tarzian, is seeking a Local Sales Manager to support the sales team and the Director of Sales, representing adult rock WTTS-FM, all‑sports WWZN (98‑7 The Zone), classic rock WTTS‑HD2 (96‑1 The Quarry), and ST Digital Solutions, our locally‑owned boutique digital agency.

Duties and Responsibilities
Sales and service to new local business accounts.
Hire and develop the selling skills of an entry level group of staff tasked with acquiring new business.
Assist the Director of Sales to manage the Sales Department to its fullest potential, to achieve the maximum financial and client service objectives.
Personally represent the station to an assigned active list of local direct and/or agency advertisers.
Maintain and handle accounts as assigned by the Director of Sales.
Set sales goals and develop reporting procedures for staff.
Complete timely paperwork affecting accounts such as orders, avails and client correspondence and communicate daily with traffic, production, and sales management to expedite client needs.
Keep current with the market by monitoring and studying competitive media; report to management on market and account status with reports as required.
Make presentations to advertisers and agencies, including preparation of station and market research.
Bring in new local direct accounts (no advertising agency involved) as well as agency accounts to the station.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field, preferred, but not required.
Experience of 2‑3+ years of management experience, preferred, but not required.
Experience of 1‑2+ years of broadcast sales experience, preferred, but not required.
Proven record of sales success.
Must maintain a professional appearance and manner.
Must be able to market and sell digital marketing and broadcast radio solutions to businesses.
Excellent oral and written communication; strong public speaking skills.
Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to direct and contain all elements of negotiation.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to learn the art of digital advertising, marketing and sales.
College graduates who majored in Communications or Business are encouraged to apply.
