The Role:
We are looking for an Assistant Video Producer Intern to support our Marketing Team and help bring Rowan's story to life. This is an in-person, hands‑on role. You will be in the room, behind the camera, and in the edit bay. You won't be making coffee runs or sitting on the sidelines.

What you will do:

Assist with end-to-end video production across formats

Support production of The Last Bolt podcast, both in‑studio and remotely via Riverside

Edit video content in Adobe Premiere under the direction of the Content Producer

Help set up and manage cameras, audio interfaces, and basic production gear

Help publish and manage content across social platforms using scheduling tools

Appear on camera as needed

Ideate medium‑form content ideas with the marketing team

Recent college grads (within the last two years) with MFAs in Film, Creative Writing, Journalism, etc.

Experience producing or editing video, whether in school, freelance, or personal projects

Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere (this is a non‑negotiable)

Comfortable on camera and behind a camera

Basic familiarity with camera operation, audio setup, and lighting fundamentals

Organized and reliable with deadlines

Curious about small business and the people who build them

Directed films, music videos, ads, or other content for real clients

Spent time with After Effects or motion media software

Watched a ton of movies, documentaries, or TV shows

Requirements:

Ability to commute to River North, Chicago and work in‑person

Ability to work offsite for video shoots and travel domestically if needed
