Frisco Family Services has served the Frisco, Texas community for nearly 30 years, providing vital services such as a Summer Lunch Program, the only no‑cost community food resource in the city, and emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, gas vouchers, childcare, and prescription medications. The Marketing and Communications VISTA will build sustainable marketing and communications systems that expand community awareness and engagement for Frisco Family Services, increasing access to critical programs and services—including food, financial assistance, and life‑skills programs—for individuals and families facing hunger, financial instability, and other urgent needs.

Service Dates: 7/13/2026 to 7/12/2027.

Member Duties
The Marketing and Communications VISTA will develop a sustainable system for creating, organizing, and maintaining branded marketing materials to ensure consistency and improve efficiency across all organizational communications. The member will build structured outreach systems and tools that expand community awareness and strengthen engagement with local partners, businesses, and community groups. Additionally, they will propose foundational media relations systems to increase visibility and position the organization as a trusted resource for individuals and families in crisis.
