2D Animator – YouTube Shorts Rigging

Join an exciting project focused on creating fast-paced, comedic YouTube Shorts animations. This role centers on developing a modular animation system that enables rapid production of expressive, internet-style cartoon content. You will design and rig reusable cartoon body systems, modular outfits, and backgrounds, ensuring flexibility for a variety of characters, including celebrities, politicians, and historical figures. The animation style should be visually engaging, exaggerated, and comedic, maintaining a consistent look across all videos. The initial task is to deliver a set of reusable assets within a one-week timeframe, with the potential for ongoing asset production for future projects.
Responsibilities

Design and rig modular 2D cartoon body systems suitable for rapid animation workflows
Create expressive facial rigs and modular outfits for character variety
Develop reusable backgrounds and props to support a range of scenarios
Ensure the animation style is exaggerated, comedic, and visually engaging
Adapt rigs to accommodate different recognizable faces on common body rigs
Deliver initial asset setup within a tight one-week deadline
Collaborate on ongoing modular asset production for future content
Skills And Requirements

Proficiency in 2D animation and rigging, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work
