Creative Arts Pastor

Position Summary
The Creative Arts Pastor provides vision, leadership, and oversight for all aspects of the Creative Arts ministry, including Worship, Production, and Communications. This individual will work closely with the Lead Pastor to design and execute weekend experiences that are spiritually impactful, creatively engaging, and aligned with the mission and vision of Connextion Church.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Spiritual & Pastoral Leadership

Maintain a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ

Pastor, disciple, and care for Creative Arts team members

Foster a spiritually healthy, team-oriented culture

2. Worship & Weekend Experience

Collaborate with the Lead Pastor in planning weekly services

Lead worship regularly and develop worship teams

Design cohesive worship experiences that align with teaching and church vision

Lead and execute special services (Easter, Christmas, worship nights, etc.)

3. Creative Arts Leadership

Provide pastoral leadership over Worship, Production, and Communications teams

Recruit, train, and develop volunteers and leaders

Build a culture of excellence, creativity, humility, and ownership

4. Production & Technical Oversight

Oversee all production elements (audio, lighting, video, livestream)

Ensure services are distraction-free and technically excellent

Evaluate and implement improvements in systems and technology

5. Communications & Media

Oversee branding, messaging, and communication strategy

Manage social media, website, and digital engagement

Ensure consistent voice and visual identity across all platforms

Direct video storytelling and promotional content

6. Administrative Leadership

Manage scheduling for teams and volunteers

Oversee ministry budget and planning

Maintain systems, workflows, and weekly service readiness

Ensure compliance with licensing and copyright standards

Qualifications & Experience

Clear calling to ministry and alignment with the mission of Connextion Church

Demonstrated experience in worship leadership and/or creative arts ministry

Strong vocal and/or instrumental ability preferred

Proven leadership in building and developing teams

Experience with church production environments and tools

Strong organizational, communication, and creative skills

Personal Expectations

A committed follower of Jesus who models spiritual maturity and integrity

Active participation in church life, including small groups

Commitment to biblical stewardship and generosity

A team player with a positive, flexible, and servant‑hearted attitude

Work Environment
This role operates within a flexible, hybrid ministry model, requiring both in‑person leadership and the ability to manage responsibilities remotely when appropriate. Availability for weekends, events, and key ministry moments is essential.
