What You’ll do
As a Technical SEO Manager you will own the technical foundation of Rural King’s organic search presence. This role focuses on site health, crawlability, performance, structured data, and platform-level SEO initiatives. The Technical SEO Manager works closely with development, UX, and analytics teams to ensure search engines can efficiently access and interpret site content.
Lead technical SEO strategy and execution across the e-commerce platform.
Conduct regular site audits and identify technical issues (e.g., crawl errors, broken links).
Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and indexation strategies.
Monitor site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance.
Implement and maintain structured data (schema markup).
Partner with development teams on SEO-related releases and site migrations.
Track technical SEO performance and report insights using GSC, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush.
Lead associates in a way that exemplifies the leadership principles taught in Rural King’s Thrive Leadership Program.
Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Qualities for Success
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of technical SEO experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
Strong experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication
Physical Requirements
Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.
Able to navigate and access all facilities.
Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
Close vision for computer-related tasks.

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $68,000 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
