Job Overview
Sells products by maintaining and expanding customer base. Accountable for achieving the regional sales and profitability goals. In addition to providing market feedback for support and development of new products.

Responsibilities

Attain the yearly sales goals for the territory.

Reach a strong and productive relationship with sales agents quickly.

Work independently and as part of an international selling team.

Operate as a teammate within the Hipotronics Sales department, pitch in where needed.

Be, or quickly become, a respected sales professional.

Participate at technical symposia and trade exhibitions.

Provide written and oral reports as needed.

A Day In The Life

Generate price proposals and quotations to customers.

Provide technical (specifications) documentation for the quotes.

Interface with marketing and engineering on technical issues.

Provide market feedback and write technical specifications for new products.

Correspond with customers, agents and regional managers as needed.

Identify and report issues that may impact the ability to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

Excellent sales and application skills.

Background in a similar technical field.

Ability to be flexible, help other departments when needed to achieve business goals.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact and maintain effective relationships with other employees.

Bachelor's (preferred) or associate's degree in technical or business field or minimum of 5+ years in a sales role.

Willing to travel up to 25-50% of time.
