SMB - MuleSoft
We are Salesforce, a leading customer engagement platform. We are seeking a MuleSoft Account Executive for our Small Business segment (customers with 1-200 employees) to partner with companies and drive digital transformation through our API Connectivity via the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
Responsibilities
Engage with existing customers and new leads to develop strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and C‑suite decision makers.
Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
Close opportunities at assigned existing accounts and drive sales at new accounts.
Drive sales within the assigned segment and acquire new logos within the assigned territory.
Speak to MuleSoft business offerings as they relate to the customer’s needs and engage other resources as required.
Differentiates MuleSoft and Salesforce solutions based on business drivers, personas, and trends for accounts.
Articulate what drives an industry.
Manage a high volume of accounts and sales.
Preferred Qualifications
Average 2-5 years of full cycle sales experience, at least 2 years in the field with a proven track record of success.
Experience managing a large book of business, growing existing customer base and successful new‑logo outreach.
Experience selling to the C‑suite (CIOs, CTOs); matrixed selling environment preferred.
Experience selling technical platforms preferred.
Integration / API market awareness.
Ability to build and deliver presentations to customers.
Ability to strategize with a large extended team.
Will be evaluated based on core competencies such as leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience.

Compensation
Base salary range: California $68,150 to $114,100. Illinois $68,150 to $114,100. Compensation includes incentive, equity, and benefits as applicable.
